WEST STOCKWITH TO WORKSOP
26 miles that have been continuously in water since completed in 1777. Joined to the inland waterways network via the River Trent.

WORKSOP TO SHIREOAKS
Restoration completed in 2001, including the new Shireoaks Marina.

SHIREOAKS TO KIVETON PARK
Restoration to the eastern portal of Norwood Tunnel, including the historic lock flights at Turnerwood & Thorpe Salvin completed in 2003.

STAVELEY TO TAPTON
Tapton Lock Visitor Centre opened 1998. Canal restoration including major highways crossings completed in 2002.

KIVETON PARK TO STAVELEY
This 9 mile section is currently unnavigable. Planning for restoration well advanced.

TAPTON TO CHESTERFIELD
Restoration to new terminus in Chesterfield planned as an integral part of a major urban regeneration scheme.

NORWOOD TUNNEL
Canal line secured and levels set across the former Kiveton Park Colliery in 2006, includng the creation of lakes for a future marina.
